I don't think they have one out yet for the EFI but will shortly if not.

This site info is sponsored by HC and there is a lot of threads on it, talk to Cobb for his discount.

Here is the HC website with a lot of good info too on the setup etc... HC site

Dave -

This from the Heelclicker site:

------------------------------------
The Clutch Kit will fit the following ATV models:

* 2001 and up, 400scr, 400SP, 500, 500HO ,600SP, 700SP, 700EFI Sportsman.
* 2002 Scrambler
* 2001 Magnum
* 2001 Scrambler may need newer updated side cover for weight clearance.
* 1999 Sportsman may need updated side cover for weight clearance.
------------------------------------
I'd assume that would include the 2005s. Also, I have a HC kit that I tried on my 400 for a few hrs if interested.

I emailed Heelclicker, Dan responded that they fit the 2005 also. I'm just wondering if it would give any advantage on the 2005. Supposedly the '05 has different springs, etc. from the earlier models and from what i have read on a few posts that it isn't supposed to be much change with the heelclicker kit. Maybe I'll call Dan and talk to him about what advantages I would gain. I'm running at high altitude, so may not be an advantage...

I think you would see a big difference. My 400 just didn't have enough HP (not a prob for you) at this altitude to make good use of it. Low end was awesome - didn't have to use low range near as much and had very little belt wear. Mid range suffered because the weights were too heavy to make RPM, top end stayed about the same if there was enough room to wind it out.

I should have added the the advantage comes from the clutch weight design, not so much in the springs included. I found that my stock springs gave me the best performance, but the weights do just what they advertise.

What dealer removed the spider for you?

The spider shim is only required on the 700 so I didn't have to mess with it.

Lucky you....I'm sure the dealer would be happy for me to bring my clutch in, in pieces to have them pull my spider, when the machine is only two months old...lol....

Yeah, no kidding. I had forgotten about the shim on the 700 - I'm not sure the benefits would outweigh the costs in your situation. My guess would be not, as Polaris clutches thier machines pretty well for most riding. I am happy with mine where it is - stock with the proper weights for this altitude.
