How do you get this damn cv boot clamp tight.

I got the gorilla boot. The clamp is the type that slides through. There are two teeth to bend down to hold it. How can I get this tight? Please tell me how you did it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Dave you are awesome. They are on their way. I bent down those two teeth on top to get some clamping force so when I pull the one end it will stay. It doesn't . If I crimp it harder then I probably won't be able to pull the band. There has to be a better way.

Jeff,
By looking at your clamp, the way you tighten them is to fold back the tongue that is sticking through the clamp. You're trying to pinch the two clips down, but you need to grap the tongue with a pliers and fold it back towards the two clips and flatten it out. Do you understand what I'm saying?

you pull it tight, use a needle nose pliers that is rounded on the outside, pull it tight and roll the needle nose back over the top of the slot that the tongue runs through and twist the pliers like your are opening a can of sardines, and then push down on the clamp/tongue until it flattens out, it can't come lose because it is folded back over....
if you want, i'll take a pic of a hose clamp folded back over to show you what i mean, I don't think i have a clamp like yours laying around, but you'll get the idea...
