Default aftermarket brakes for predator 90 ?

does anyone know of any aftermarket disc brakes for the front of a predator 90. not currently having any problems with the drums, but i would like to convert the fronts to hydraulic discs. (hope i spelled that right) so far were very happy with the little machine, just want a better braking system on the front. thankyou in advance for any help.

Coverting the front drum to disc brake system looks easier on the white board then it really is. It can be done but it's complex and very costly. For details of one conversion kit, surf:

If you feel this would make your unit too wide or too expensive of a conversion, you might be able to install front hubs and A-Arms from another brand (that has factory disc brakes), install its foot or handle bar assembly and "away you go". Or should I say, "away you stop much better???" Either way, the front conversion looks very expensive.

Hope this helps...

.

As a suggestion, give http://www.hetrickracing.com/minibrakes.htm a call. I've heard they make lots of customized parts that aren't listed on their web site. Perhaps thay have a "close match" system that might fit on the Pred-90 line. I do know they make a customized foot brake system for the Pred-90. We'll worth a call into their specialized shop.

Hope this helps as well....
