swingarms for an 85 250r

Lorenzo,
We have a 6" Laegers on one of our R's. A few things to remember:
Increasing the length will require suspension mods to offset the increased leverage on the rear shock. We know this from experience. Also, the longer swingarm will result in slower cornering.
Before you get one, keep in mind that the '85 is completely different from any other 'R'. The axle bearings are different, and must be compatible with the '85. Another thing to remember is that the rear brake system is also different. The caliper itself is different, as are the mounts.
One thing I am not certain of, however, is if the pivot point is different. I simply don't know.
Good luck, and keep proving that 4 wheels is one too many!
