Rikens, K&K, and Nac's grooved front radial tires are really expensive ($60-$70). I saw a tire groover in my Nac's catalog and was hoping someone could tell me where I could get the same style radial tires in the same dimensions as the ones grooved by K&K and Nac's (but not already grooved). They look like little car tires so I was thinking of checking at an auto parts store, but I want to make sure I get the same exact tires as the ones custom grooved by K&K and Nac's. About how much are these tires?

Good luck finding those tires! I tried many times to find them cheaper and groove them myself. I must have called 15 tire stores and got nothing. If you find some, let me know! Look for Kuhmo, Marshall, or Rikens. They have to be R10's for a 10" rim.

I have ones from nacs and they are called "camac" or camak
so you might look for them as well.

Is it easy to groove the rear turf tamers? I have a set and was thinking about getting a set of clippers and doing it myself.

We are talking about front tires but I have grooved my own turf tamers. It is easy and takes about 15 min. each tire. I used a cutter from Sears that costed me $14, it is made by Channel locs.

Thanks for your help, everyone. I found some Kumho 756 (145/R10) radial tires on tirerack.com for $28 each! I think I'm going to order some.

I looked all over the net for auto tire websites and got lucky. yeah, the groover is expensive. my local atv shop sells the same tires for $59 not grooved and $69 grooved. im going to see if they will grove my tires (which i got for $28) for $10 a tire. if not, retro says he got a groover for 14 bucks from sears. i'm gonna try to find one.

Go to www.tirerack.com.
Click on 'tires' at the top.
There is a drop down menu for sizes. Select 145/0/10.
You should come up with the Kumho 756 (145x10).
That's how you find them.
