Polaris Trail blazer need help deciding

hi, im looking at a Polaris trail blazer. im not sure if i should get it though. im 15 and weight 125lbs but my dad would probably want to use it for hunting camp also. he is 6'1 and 225lbs. i want something that has traction and has good torque and has good speed and im not sure if it is big enough. the guy says it might need a new stater and recoil work. he is selling it for 900 and it is a 1992. thanks for any help

This can be an excellent quad - If the previous owner took good care of it. Size wise the trailblazer 250 is decent. I have ridden (and owned) a 1996 Polaris Explorer 300, have ridden a Trail Boss 250 and currently own a Sport 400. The 250 in stock form is not super fast, but is fine for trail riding. If you want to go to the dunes, it is probably underpowered. The tires will have more to do with traction than anything (Other than 4wd). The stock tires of the mid to late 90's are great for rough or muddy trails. I have never gotten stuck on any of the 3 quads above. All had similar tires & all were stock. P.S. I weigh 300, so your dad has nothing to worry about.

Dude..........you will like it for a while but at 15, not for long assuming it's a 250. I just bought one for my 13 year old. He rips it up hard. In 2 years he will be ready for a 400 no problem. As far as dad........tell him to get his own ride, lol. Good luck !
