why does my banshee lag top end?

I have a 2000 banshee and i just disconected my throttle postion sensors because they went on the machine. now that i have done this there seems to be some lag throught the gears. My top speed on the demon is 55. Any respeonse will help. thanks

You disconnected the sensors because they went on the machine????? Huh???
If you reconnect it, does it fix the problem?? Disconnecting the TORS won't make your quad faster. It's only designed to cut the throttle in case of an extended WOT no load condition that could cause engine damage.
It sounds like you unplugged the wires that connect the TORS to the thumb throttle. You can't just unplug something and expect all else to work. If this is what you did, then you actually caused the TORS to think it needs to kick in. It's now interrupting the ignition, which is what it is supposed to do.

my buddy was there when i did and it ran great has nothing to do with the sensors, what else could it be

Have you cleaned the air filter lately? Did you make sure you didn't turn any adjustments on the carbs when you unhooked the things that really didn't need to be unhooked. Make sure the black tube between the two carbs are hooked to each carb. Replace your plugs. Adjust your premix ratio. Change your gas. Clean your carbs... and lastly slap your friend across the face and tell him never to touch your bike again
