Do you have the Throttle Stop screw turned all the way out? I believe they come close to 3/4 from the dealer.

You disconnected the sensors because they went on the machine????? Huh???

If you reconnect it, does it fix the problem?? Disconnecting the TORS won't make your quad faster. It's only designed to cut the throttle in case of an extended WOT no load condition that could cause engine damage.

It sounds like you unplugged the wires that connect the TORS to the thumb throttle. You can't just unplug something and expect all else to work. If this is what you did, then you actually caused the TORS to think it needs to kick in. It's now interrupting the ignition, which is what it is supposed to do.

Id ask your 'Buuddy' to look at it. not some one a thousand miles away, Sounds like you should reconnect what you disconnected.

Check the wiring that goes from your right hand, to your head, and then to the seat of your pants.

Have you cleaned the air filter lately? Did you make sure you didn't turn any adjustments on the carbs when you unhooked the things that really didn't need to be unhooked. Make sure the black tube between the two carbs are hooked to each carb. Replace your plugs. Adjust your premix ratio. Change your gas. Clean your carbs... and lastly slap your friend across the face and tell him never to touch your bike again

When you unhooked the electrics, Did you change the carb caps at the same time?

Turn the adjustment on the throttle splitter cable?

Your carbs could be out of sync, Or not opening all the way.
