its an early 2x4 scrambler. the scrambler 400 2x4 used to be called the sport then plaris kind of merged the line.
polaris seems to like to give different names to the same quad and consider it an update for new model years. the sport, scrambler 2x4 is now called a trailblazer 400.

That is a fairly high price for a 94 2x4 400.You can get a newer 400 Scrambler 2x4 for around $2000

sorry to bust a bubble but that is way to much unless it is in awsome shape a quad that old needs everything checked there are a few weak areas on the motor that would really need checked like the counter balance and the and the compresstion. if you want to see a sport click my camera...
if its in good shape i think they are great quads fun fast powerful and reliable if taken care of. and how it does in the snow depends on the tires on it..i got some sand gekkos for the snow..

They are fun in the snow just ike any other quad. If you are talking about pulling, and farm use....I would say go with a 4x4. I guess it would depend on what you want it for.
