My brother baught a pair of lonestar A arms and they have hemisferical joints that squeek like crap it is annoying to ride the bike. I put spray silicone in them but it only works for a hour or so of riding. Does anybody know of anything else to use that won't attract to much dirt or sand ? or do you just oil them and deal with the mess?

I use sewing machine oil on mine...it's really light, but seems to stay where I put it, and keeps the squeaks away. The container I use has a very small tube that allows me to put it right where it needs to go, so it doesn't get all over the place. Just be sure to wipe off any extra, and it won't get as filthy.

You might try some Honda HP chain lube. I think it's a teflon lube and does't attract much dirt. Oh and it works great on your chain too.

Can you post the part number on the heim if you can see it? Some have zerts, teflon liners, or even thermoplastic race inserts. Kinda wondering what ones you're talking about.

Some of these things are pretty cheap, and obviously the better ones cost more.
