Hi all, I just joined these forums! Looks good! I am going to purchase a new Polaris atv soon and was wondering which one would fit in the back of my 04' dodge 1500 short bed with the tailgate closed. My local dealer has 04 leftovers as well as new 05's. I am considering the Sportsman 500 or the 700.

Welcome to the fourm....I would get the 800 EFI and put the dodge on the quad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]LOL I think they both would fit.

 

Sorry to tell you man,
I got the same truck you do, and there isnt any four wheeler going to fit in the bed with the tailgate closed.

My vinson doesnt even come close. I just put ratchet straps all all four corners and go.

I usually just ride around on our property.
my buddy takes me out to huntington hills, bainbridge and some other places.

I hear there is a place between rainsboro and hillsboro?

I work in Hillsboro.

 

We ride at Happy Hollow...which is north of Peebles, and Big Rock....which is in Maysville KY.

 

Have you been to Wayne National forest yet?
They have been trying to get me to go down there but I havent had time.

 

No, But have have some friends that have utility quads that go there. They said they love it. I would like to go sometime.
