What's with all the raptor 350 smokes a 400ex threads lately? I don't get it. Haven't raced one yet but I completely demolish the warrior and I can't see that dramatic of improvement from the "updated" Yammy.

Anybody have a story to tell?

yeah i had a warrior , they not to much slower than a rap 350 , and i know for a fact a 400ex can kill both , saw it happen

 

Yeah they say, with all the changes that they made, now I smoke 400's. Give me a break, they only changes were new looks, tires, I think shocks, and a carb I think? Tell me what I forgot to put.

 

yeah its BS... u burn my friends piped warrior and i doubt the raptor350 is insanely faster than the warrior... not a chance

That's all I've read too as far as engine changes (was the carb) and while that might give you better throttle response but has nothing to do with speed. Like I said, I just can't see it.

 

Hey i'm 17 years old and i dream about beating a 400ex,but i know it ain't going to happen.Straight up bottom line is the 400ex will always beat a rap 350,the only way the 400ex will lose is if there is a crappy rider on the 400ex,but most the time if you got a 400ex you'll be a pretty decent rider.
