keep in mind that the quieter the muffler you put on it the more exaust restriction there is and the less power you'll get out of the quad

That's what doesn't make sense - they also claim more power while being quieter. I had my doubts on this too...

My neighbor has one on his 05 Kodiak. It doesn't seem to affect the power at all. There is less exhaust noise, but you notice the engine noise a lot more. From 20 yards away you can hardly hear it, but when you're just putting along you can hardly hear it withought the thing.

BE SURE to let me know! If it works on yours - I'm thinking it would work on mine...

sounds good man, ill let u know when i get it on there...hey do you have any special techniques on getting our grizz to do a wheelie..the only way that works for me is slaming it back in low with all my weight to get 3 inches up..lol

If you havent re-jetted, do that. The grizz comes rich from the factory. I re-jetted, added a supertrapp pipe and K&N filter. Completely different machine.

It ll wheelie in high range too. You just have to shift your weight back and pull up on the handle bars. Takes some practice but it will come up.

I think the stealth pipe is a waste of money. Most deer dont pay any attention to them at all. I driven up to about 15 yrds away from them before they even notice. Also, I rode the land I hunt on all summer so that they get use to the sound. The stock muffler is pretty quiet anyways.

You have to buy new jets. They come factory with a 153. Check your plug and see what it looks like. They are like $3 a piece or you can get a whole kit for around $50. Theres a difference in the Mikuni and the Dyno Jet though, so if you buy the singles, go with the Mikuni.
