I was wondering if I could plow ok with my new recon? We normaly dont get more than 6" of snow at a time here in Maryland. If it will handle it which plow set up should I get?

 

im looking for a setup aswell, cyce country and moose sell em, i no that much, now im tryin to find em cheap, if you find out fill me in, ill do the same. same deal here with the snow, if we do get blizzard of some sort i think ill be getting chains,

 

If I find a good deal i will let you know. If we get a big snow here I will use my truck. 98 chevy 3/4 ton 4X4 with 8' meyer plow ;o)

 

I'm in the same position. Debating to get a plow. I like cycle country's plows, but i wouldnt get a very big wide one. Chains are a good idea, and with these small machines you need weight on the rear end. And if not chains, a set of good tires, I like my GBC gators in the snow. I have a friend with one, it worked excellent for what he was working with, but not as well as a 4x4. (obviously)

 

racer... do u need to rejet if your only using a K+N? and i just found the cc plow for 334.99 at moto x

i push a 48" cyclecountry straight blade with my recon/ it pushes up to 6" with ease, // i plow fast and can hit deep snow

 

Roscoe... no u dont have to re-jet if your only using a K&N. It's worth more power of course, but not manditory.
