Default sport 400

i have been looking at these latly, thinking of purchasing one, are they fast, good handling, why were they discontiued. thanks.

They are an excellent quad. Only bad part is that the front suspension limits the use of the machine. That is why I put the 250r front end on. This helped alot of the problems and it handles great now. Check out my pics to see. I will be posting it on the classified section soon. :cool

they can be built to run wit anything basically

They are great quads and easily modded. They are discontinued because they are two strokes and all are being phased out.
I love mine it has been a good reliable quad. If you get one give Rick a call at RcR for mods.

I have one too. Mine is a 99 sport 400. When i bought it, the oil injector cable was broken. I replaced the injector with the block off kit from hot seat performance $16.00. It did make a differnce. I premix 32:1 since i ride only on trails and have to go slower with the boys at times. The other thing to check is the counter balance oil. I had to change the cb bearing and seals on mine. After that no problems.

yes they are sweet, with just a few mods it is pretty fast already. there are alot of mods for it. very good quad. (i think so ne wayz)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
