Default steering damper

what exactly do these do, pros cons? and how do they work.

They put pressure on your steering stem so the viberation is minimized.......if you get a good one, it will be one of your best investments........

not only does it reduce vibration but it helps keep the handle bars from being ripped out of your hands when you hit something.i bought the hpd damper and its one of the best mods ive done yet..

okay, well i dont really have the money right now and there is alot of other stuff i want first. so i was just curious as to what these did.
