AHH HELP ME!

i havent ridden in over a month and im goin nuts, last time i road was out in the ditches by my house. i was crossin a hwy to go to a beanfield. i dropped off the hwy on my scrambler and landed in the beanfield, i heard a loud noise but i thought nothing of it because i figured it was the chain, i slowed down and shut it off just to let her cool down. after the air cooling shut off i started her back up and went wide open and pulled up to do a wheelie and all i heard was the worst sound of metal and metal griding together. i look back and figured it was something with the chain but i didnt notice anything, i drove it back in 4 wheel drive and didnt ride it for about a week. a friend of mine came out and he wanted to see my flat track i made in this bean field. i told him what had been goin on and we pulled it out and i punched it and he watched the drive, we figured out it was something intertal with the rear drive system, the engine was runnin great and the front drive works. i dont have very much knowledge about mechanical problems with four-wheelers and i cant take it into the dealer cuz my dad doesnt have the money to fix it right now. if u have any ideas at all what the problem could be please help!!!

Check your gearcase fluid.........see how many metal chips are on the end of the dipstick.......It could possibly be your chain is not lubed, and is binding....you you have a broken sproket(?) in there.......

I experienced that situation last week, but for me it was my front sprocket. We took it off and wow, no teeth on it at all, rounded out completely. It's hanging on my wall.

it sounds like it could be the bolts where the swing arm mount they will work them selfs loose it will let the swing arm slide to one side under acceleration and the chain will jump.. sit the quad with the rear wheels off the ground and see if there is any left right movement...
