Default atv tracks

Anyone using atv tracks vs tires? They seem pretty sweet, but extremely expensive and look hard to turn. If you're running them, what brand and how much did you pay for them? So far, I've only seen them in the $3100-4500 range and no used ones around (maybe that's a good sign). Anyway, not in the market for a set yet (especially with the 4k price tag), but I wanted to hear what people had to say about them and possibly see some pics...

I've never seen a thread discussion from anyone running tracks. I've read articles in Dirt Wheels about these systems. I remember reading about installation on a Grizzly. It was difficult to steer, slow, and of course, expensive! They look fun if you could afford them and didn't mind loosing some speed and agility. I can't imagine why you'd need them unless you were in very deep snow, as in using it like a Snow Cat, or, agricultural applications in flood irrigated land.

If you want to run tracks get a Polaris 6x6 and add the factory tracks to the back wheels. They will set you back about 1,000. Almost impossible to stop them in mud
