do u think id need more than a pipe to beat a piped yfz450? if so what else? also what pipe do u reccomend? thanks

IME an hrc R and piped yfz are about equal.

The hrc cam is pretty good but the pipe leaves a little to be desired. I'd buy a better pipe and worry about a cam later if you need to.

 

I agree with you MADDOG i would first get a better pipe and worry about digging into your motor later...

 

The pipe makes the biggest difference of any mod on a 2-Stroke motor, so i would get the best possible pipe. Paul Turner.

 

uh thanks fatty..... i guess. anyway i got the hrc kit going by what most ppl said to go with. (trx450r.org) and believe they are right. one guy said he and his buddy had 13t sprocket,jetting, filter. the only difference was he had a dr d pipe and his buddy had the hrc end cap. he said that there was no advantage with either. also most said a hrc honda beats just a piped one. also i saw a dnyo with a hrc only equipped honda, and one with a pipe added to that and it only went from 44 to 45hp. i think i made the right choice, but thanks guys for ur help.
