Default Wiseco Big Bore ?

I have a 2001 400EX and iam looking into doing the Wiseco 440CC kit and hot cam. I looked on ebay and i saw 2 different compression types 12.5:1 and 11:1. Which is better and which stage cam 1 or 2? I hear the stage 1 is bad with bore is this true. any help will be appreciated!!! Thanks.

id recommend the 11:1 ratio because u can still use 93 octane... wiht the 12.5:1 youll have to use racing gas so if u dont mind then go for it. and with the bore the stage 2 works wonders

the stock crank is fine. with 12:1, you may want a heavy duty rod. i run a 11:1 on a stock rod and i haven't had a problem yet. with higher than 11:1 you will also want to use race gas along with heavy duty head studs
