KLF 220 Bayou
#1
I just got a 2001 Bayou 220 for $300 and it runs good. The starter solenoid is shot, and the front spindles are sloppy as hell. It looks like the bushings are almost gone. There is alot of up and down play where the hub bolts to the a-arm. The choke cable is frozen up which makes it hard to start so I ordered a replacement. It is a little hoss! This little quad is for my wife and for taking care of my track. Has anyone else had similiar problems with the front end? This is my first Kawasaki, but it has a good reputation. I appreciate any assistance

You got a bullet proof machine there. That atv must have a ton of hours on it. I've never heard of worn out spindles. Unless the previous owners never greased it or lubed it. For 300 bucks you got a pretty good deal on it. When you get it all fixed up it will be a good little atv. Good luck with it.
