American Star Racing A-Arms??
#1
Has anybody had or seen some of these A-Arms? My nephew was thinking about getting some +2, but I was not to sure about quality and performance of these. I am going to place a title in Performance section also, but I am trying to get the most info I can on these.
They say life time warranty from breaking and bending. HMM I am not sure what do you people think?

I just put a set on my 450r, on Saturday. It look about 2 hours, 2.5 tops. i have never bought or installed other A-arms so I can't compare. I did find it very easy, though. I had one problem while assembling them, called there phone # after hours. They returned my call at 7:10 am and talked me through the problem. I say save the $300 plus and get ASR arms.
I am going to buy an ASR swing arm next.

When they powder coated the arms, powder got in on one part of the threads. If you have had things coated you can see the problem. I wanted to tap the threads, but not till I talked to them. The guy there, named mark, offered to mail me a tap, if I couldn't find one. I used a tap at work, cleaned the paint out, and it went right together. Just a small thing, no troubles.
