Does anyone have a desert tank on their 400EX? If so how hard was it to install? How does it look, how much was it, and where do you get them?

Thanks,

Rachel

I installed mine last week, looks great, IMS sales them for $176 they hold 4.3 gal. The only problem I had was that I have an aftermarket steering stem (hauser) and it hit the tank, buy I took a heat gun , heated the tank and gently pushed it in until my steering stm cleared. I absolutely love mine!

LOL no kidding, I'm already in love, haha!

Anyhoo, Does anyone other than IMS make a larger capacity gas tank for the 400EX that doesn't stick up so far? I'd like the extra range of a bigger gas tank, but that big hump right in front of the seat scares me.
