My shocks work ok on slower speeds, work decent on higher speeds, their not made for duning, thats all they should change, make dune version stock shocks

Default yfz suspension question

The yfz is a purpose built mx machine and has a harsh suspension at low speeds. Yamaha softened the suspension for the 05 model year.

This topic has also been covered multiple times.

Default yfz suspension question

The suspension on the 04 and the 05 is the same just with softer settings out of the factory. If your a dunner and weight under 200 lbs. just soften up the compression all the way and it rides much better.
