SPORTRAX 250EX AND MUDLITES
#1
Installed a set of ITP C-10 wheels and Mudlite tires on my godsons sportrax for Christmas..I went one inch taller on the tires for a little extra ground clearance and of course the C-10 wheels are 10inch diameter. Man does it look mean and made the rear about an inch wider. We ride trails through the mountains and powerlines mostly. I usually let him go first on large mountain trails that are very steep just to see how far we should go. I ride a 4wd so its not as difficult for me. Today we took our first ride with his new Mudlite tires all around on the ITP wheels. He was unstoppable. We climbed a couple of mountain trails over roots and slick wet leaves through trees, ruts and rocks so steep you couldnt have hardly climbed them on foot..The sportrax was just like a 4wd. Unbelievable! Mudholes were no problem either. The only one that stuck him also stuck my 4wd. WE are running 3lbs in the rear tires and 5 in the front. He is 13 and weighs about 100lbs. If you trail ride your sport atv instead of racing, you may want to consider this combination. The mudlites look awesome and perform the same way on the sportrax as well as the utility models. The mudlites also power slide well when you want to do some sliding around in the turns. I hope to get a digital camera soon so I can post some pictures for you. Thanks for reading. When I find something that really works great I want to share the info. I wasted a lot of money on the wrong kind of tires before I tried the Mudlites...I dont think you can beat them. They are good at everything you can throw at them and bad at nothing!
