350x Rev Limiter??
#1
Ok i was never aware of the 350x engine having a rev limiter. Is this true??(if so i've never hit it)I'm askin cuz the dude at a local repair shop around here said that a 300ex modded would smoke my 350x w/ the same mods cuz it wouldn't take anything for the 350x to hit its rev limiter. So basically he was telling me that the 350x engines suck compared to a 300ex engine. Is this guy fried or is he telling the truth?????

Every bike has a rev limiter. Some are higher than others. If you ride your bike hard you have hit the rev limiter before, but anyway go tell that guy to bring a 300ex modded and smoke him on your stock 350x. Make him feel like an a*ss.

Bull.... 350x will totaly eat the 300ex easily, thet guy must be smoking some wrong stuff. i belive it does have a rev limiter i gunned my 350x and i hear the rpm's jumping. like when overrevving a little honda automobile.

Thank God that there are some sensible people on this forum! lol. When this guy was tryin to tell me that i was just sittin there thinkin ok this dude is out of his mind if he thinks a 300ex will beat a 350x, just no possible way (unless the 300 was modded out to hell and the 350x was stock). My buddy has a 04' 300ex thats piped and jetted and i still beat him pretty good, so idk what this dude was tryin to prove when he was just blabbin his mouth. Who knows, anyways thx for the replys ya'll. Later.

First off, there is no rev limiter on a 350EX engine..........secondly, I could pass a 300ex full speed with the front wheel in the air.
My 350x (stock engine w/KN airfilter) has beat stock 400EX's every time I lined up.......unless I got off line bad or failed to shift right.
Now I have a DS 650........350x does not compare.

Sure about that? I had my rev limiter removed from the black box on my 350x motor when it was built up and put in my 250r frame.
