Does anyone have any [reliable] info as to what Honda is going to do about answering Yahama's
call [on the Raptor]?? I have heard that maybe its a 650cc 4 stroke in a trx frame..? I know
that the big meeting is in Vegas really soon, and
my dealer says that he will know something, and have pictures next Monday [the 18]. Anyone know
whats going on as far as this goes??

I would almost guarenteed it is not a 650EX. I am %99.9 sure that one of the bikes will be a fourt stroke dirt bike to compete with the Yz426, and the other will ben a 4x4 Recon. We have seen preveiously that Honda does not quti on a great quad and make another one. Anyways why would you want a 650EX, not much more power.

Its so funny how people start rumors and expect people to beleive them. A 600R 2 stroke, I dont think so.

I think it is funny how people with a Raptor or are waiting for a Raptor hope that no 650EX comes out. It doesn't matter anyhow, it looks like that Raptor has a few rough edges keeping it from the number one spot it was supposed to occupy.

A 650ex will not pose a threat to a Raptor much more a Banshee is the speed deprtment, maybe handling, they allready have that in the 400ex so why waist time on the 650EX. Build a whole new motor in a honda frame and then maybe Honda can win in speed.
And you need to know the facts before you post a stupid coment like that. As you can see on my profile I have owned just as many Hondas as Yamahas. If Honda comes out with something that handles good and faster than a yamaha I will buy that bike. I am not biased to one company. Its people like you that are woried about stupid stuff like that. Its just means more competition for me.

its amazing how this works:
i ask a simple question, and then people
TOTALLY get off the subject that i mentioned, and
go to squaking like little kids--
maybe you should read my question again...i was
just wanting simple info., not a lecture as to what i need or do not need

I read that Honda got really angry when the DS-650 came out. Yet Honda was'nt surprised when Yamaha came out with the Raptor. The ATV Spy page shows Honda coming out with a 600EX instead.
