Looking at getting a two rider atv. I've seen both and like a few things about each one. But the real experts are out there, are you one. I have decided on the 400cc model no matter which manufacturer I go with. Rich

 

I have not personally ever ridden a two up quad, but did run into a couple on an Outlander Max, this summer, on the trails. They loved it and claimed that it handled as well as a one up quad and had plenty of power for the two of them. Also, one entered an ATV pull, I participated in, this summer. It dominated the 400 cc class. I think that the longer wheel base really lets it get the power to the ground.

I'd go with the AC. The engines are made by Suzuki and the AC is a beefier quad from the bottom up. Bombs put less engineering in their quads and a close inspection will reveal some key differences in quality of workmanship and components. I'm not one of those that espouses "buy American" no matter what. But, I'd buy American in this case before Canadian. Bomberdier probably couldn't compete head-to-head in the uS if not for NAFTA.

Well..... The company that brought us the Lear jet also engineers some incredible trains, so you are right on there. However, the other company built my '80 GS850G that had 38000 miles on it when I sold it, and was still running strong. I bet that they are both good quads. I would strongly recommend test riding both (and not just in a parking lot), single and with a passenger. See which has the handling/ power that you like the best and go with it. I have a friend that has a one up Outlander 400 and I can tell you that it is one of the most powerful (read quick accelleration and top speed) of any 400 utility class quad I have ever been on.
