Default 800 polaris availability

Hey guys, im a not so proud mechanic and owner of a cat 650. The machine goes like heck when it runs, but it seems like there is always something wrong with it. I would like to test out the new 800 sportsman efi. Sounds like the efi would be nice for ice fishing... When and where can i get one around west central minnesota, or the sorrounding area. I have a polaris dealer in my home town, but i don't know if they have any yet, or when they will get them. Also, what is the average price to pick one of these puppies up? I would probably take a bath on trading in my cat, but im just not happy, and neither is my dad, who has the same thing i do. 2005 cat 650. Thanks for the help!

don't know about your area, but dealers around here are selling the 800 like crazy. they last less than a week in the showroom, i go back for another look, BAM they are gone!

although they are very expensive, if you were to see those custom awesome wheels, excellent tires, the purr of that new engine along with those really cool dual pipes, i think it's worth it.

from what i read the power is absolutely un-real!

your dealer can simply do a search to find you the closest dealer with an 800. it's very simple for the dealer to do this. question is are they willing to help you find one?

Hey Jinks, 7,199??? Probably meant to write 8,199, right? I was quoted $7,800, but will probably going to pass on that one. I don't plan to pay more than that.

DitchPickle650,

I'm a few hours south of you in Sioux Falls. We have MidAmerica Motoplex which is a pretty big Polaris dealer. I saw an 800 on their floor a couple of weeks ago but I don't know if they still have it or not. You could give them a call and talk to them. I've always had good luck when I've dealt with them.

I can get one for dealer cost, and i read it right off of the invoice. Its 7,506 dollars. I don't see how you could get a brand new atv for less than cost when they cant even keep them on the show floor for a day.
