It's been to long since I ran the TM45 to remember all the settings I had on it. I also ran the direct mount filter but the main was a 150 and I know I had to have the squiter / nozzle pointed right at the needle. I think i had the clip in the middle or maybe one richer. Not sure about that one.
The breather hose I bought a longer one and routed it so that it went into my air box and put a cheap filter on it from the auto parts store.
I had the 45 set up so well that there wasn't a big wow diff when i went to the duals.

if u are not using the carb mount filter, i would try a little richer on the main and needle. maybe 155-160 main and needle on 4th position. there is more velocity with the snorkle tube. some run the crackcase vent hose to that vent on the snorkle. i just pulled off the elbow on the vent and filled the hole with caulking.

Before most of my motor work I ran a 145 Main, 2 clip from the bottom, 40 polit, #50 nossile pointed right at the center of the needle. Make sure you run a 97 needle. I even run the 97 with my motor now. 96 is way to rich. Set the Accel. pump to start real early less than 1/4 throttle. If you get blips when given full thottle adjust you accel pump till it is smooth when OWT. That should work out well. Have fun we are going to buttercup.

Yeah Im not to used to the accel pump removed, Elliot stated that in normal off road riding that I wont be flicking the throttle and hit that hesitation, but he said LOL if I wine enough I can have the accel pump re-hooked up.

What size of main would you use at sea level for the Tm45. As i always see posts about jetting them ,that seem to be jetted leaner than stock carbs ??

the tm main jets are physically larger than the main jets in the bsr 42. as for comparing like main jets between both carbs, i don't know if they would flow the same or not..
