Does anyone know anything about a Shineray 110cc Raptor, I am having problems with the electric start. It sounds as if the stater is bound up and will not turn the motor over, I was going to remove the starter to test it but it has a chain attached to the end and I have never seen anything like it. I need a service manual for it and cannot find anything about it online.

Shineray is garbage. I own one myself. They may be well priced, but 'made in China' is the bottom line. Good luck finding any parts. I am a fool for owning one.

i work in a quad shop.this i a bad 1.you may develop a whine in the gearbox.about 30mph.if you are very unlucky the box will seize.then bang goes the driveshaft.i can stop this happening.as i have done in 19 of ours.if you want to know how.ask.

 

i had the wine in one of my 110cc but it has now gone after 50miles,
i am interested in how you cured the problem as i have 2 other shineray's which still have the whine

this fix is avalible on ebay.110 quad engine.

 

just searched ebay with no results, any chance of posting a link?

its there.just look for 100 quad engine.or try typing shineray.
