Sorry, not in the flaming mode today. I tell people to search because it gives them more information than they will get from their own post, and a better understanding of what questions they really need to be asking instead of which is faster.

Hey, I was just poking fun...lol...no harm intended. I just kept seeing a pattern everday. Maybe you should try and do one of your beloved "searches" on me. And then you can see how many of my posts are usefull or not.
Searched yet, Now what do you got on me? LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I know I have been in some of the **** stirrur topics for sheer fun like this one, but most of the time Im posting what little knowlege I do have[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] for those who may have questions.

Now on a serious note maddog, when you ice race do you just ratchet strap the suspension down?
If so, does that make the bike sag when you release the straps? Just curious.

Ratchet straps are find for people who are just playing with friends, but it doesnt cut it for competition.
But in response to your question, no the bike wont sag when you remove the straps. Granted your shocks will have been compressed for a time but unless you are leaving it ratcheted down for a few weeks at a time you wont see any decrease in shock height or performance. Once you lift the weight off the quad the shocks return to their prior state.

We do a little snow/iceracing here in ohio sometimes just to tool around, just thought I might try the strap idea for the heck of it. We kind of got some tighter turns, so a lot of bumps happen in which tears a few misc. parts off.
As for my egging posts, hmmmmm, warriorbanshee boy didn't get to bad if I recall, it was the two boys who really went nuts cussing and raving that got booted. Just for the record, I only egg "seriously" on those who flat out lie to get off, and those who are bashers for no reason. Kind of like when I was in high school, I used to love to pick on the kids who picked on people for no reason. It's great they don't know what to do when they get trumped. lol, ahh the good ole days.
