I had decided to buy a set of +3 +1 arms for my 400EX which offer 14inches of travel. Now you ask " Why +3 inches wide, thats too much?" Well not that I know this from experience but, Isnt wider better? Im not concerned about restrictions of being too wide or anything. And others say, " Dont go one inch further because that messes with you wieght distribution or something like that" Why not, what is going to happen if I go forward? Should I just go +3 instead. Also which axle would work best with this set up. I have been thinking bout a Eliminator by Durablue. Let me know what you think. thanks

 

I have +2+1. I love it .I ride most of the time on MX tracks. If i rode Dunes allot i would of went with the +3+1. I rode a friends that had Just +2 and not +1 forward. I like the way mine felt better.But then again I have TCS, he has works. I did before buying My a-arms call around. Talk to Denton racing,greydon proline, I even met Ben Jackson. they all said go with the +2+1 not +3+1 for the 400EX. Not sure why But they all told me +2 handles better on the 400EX over the +3

 

Wider a-arms are great for the track, but for general riding and trails, they increase your tendancy to catch trees, ruts, edges, and such... Keep in mind what kind of riding you typically do or plan on doing...

I had originally planned on +2's, but have been having so much fun racing harescrambles & the difference my TCS shocks have made with cornering, no longer think it is a good idea for me.

Something to keep in mind anyway....

I have +3 A-arms up front and a LSR +4 axcalibur axle in the rear and I love it. I ride mostly dunes and MX track though. I have never ridden +2/+1 before and Im curious about them but I can't see anything riding more stable than my bike

I always thought that no-one could top Tupac, the greatest rapper ever. But eminem is very close to pac.

If anything, EM is the best current rapper who is still alive...
