Default Electric shift. How can i disable or change the limits?

I was trying to roll start my electric shift recon today and i realized you can't shift into first unless your moving very slow. Too slow to start. I use to rols start my 250x all the time with the clutch it was easier than kicking it I dam near broke my shin once when it kicked back. (High compression head)

Is there anyway I can disable that sensor that prevents it from going into first and starting. One day my starter may lock up and my rope brake on the recoil and I may need to do this to get out of the woods.

The way the tranny works, is sequential, so 1st is always gonna be up from nuetral. Theres no way to go directly to 4th from nuetral.
I was thinking the same thing,( about some day needing to bump start) so I tried to start my foreman by being pulled by another quad. I started out in 4th gear, and not moving, and no matter how long i was pulled, it wasnt gonna start. Ive heard from others, that its not possible to bump start the es hondas. I gotta believe theres some way to bypass, whatever is keeping it from starting, but I dont know what it is.
There is a sprag clutch, under the centifical clutch, which allows engine braking. So the motor will turn over when pulled in gear. But for some reason, the motor will spin, but the motor wont start by that method.
