Default 2005 Kodiak 450 aftermarket AIRFILTER

Hey Guy's I just order one of these. This site shows a listing for the 05 kodiak where any of the others dont.
What do you guys think of this one...........http://www.twinairusa.com/index.html
Not a bad price and has to be better than the stock one. Will let you know how it does after it gets here.

It worked for my 05' kodiak 450. I also installed a stage 1 dynojet kit. ITS PULLED harder at low end. Really tugs on my arms now when I gun it.

I got a UNI filter and it really leaned me out as my sparkplug went from dark black to almost light grey/white.....Plus occasionally in a blue moon I get a backfire. I think its getting a little to much air but not much I can do without rejeting which I don't want to do. Let us know how much the twinair leans it out and I might switch if its not as much. UNI is a great filter but lets in too much air compared to stock I think. Which can be good or bad depending on what u want.

Does that come with the flange or do you use the stock set-up. The filter is only as good as its weakest link which is usually the stock method of ataching to the air box.
I know you have already bought it, but the Pro Design flange and filter is the best way to go.

If you and a filter, go ahead and add a pipe and rejet the thing. A filter will only give you minimal gains by leaning you out a little, as I believe these machines come rich from the factory.

If you guys dont mind, I would like to take the time to show you how to create a link. I see you have been just copy and pasting. If you copy the website addy from the website you want to link to and then come here and click the http button. Then paste in your addy, then type what you want it to say. IE: Reply to this thread.
