A few days ago there was a post here about the top of Sportsman 500 wheels (front and rear) leaning in on the top.

This negative camber topic was discussed at length from various viewpoints and not really brought to a conclusion.

Well... Odin got his Sportsman 500 HO back from Warner Outdoor last evening after having heavier duty springs installed on the front and rear because he plans on installing a winch, mudrunners, fuel pack, box etc, and guess what? All traces of top inward lean have disappeared. Both in a static position and under throttle.

All of the negative camber is gone. Ground clearance is improved and he is now able to utilize all of the suspension travel that the machine was designed with.

This increase in spring rates may not be for everyone. Someone who weighs less than 150 Lbs may not like the increased suspension firmness or need it. But it did remove all of the "lean in"

So if your quad is sitting there with sacked out springs and leaning wheels you may want to look into some spring upgrades.
