Default How stupid is this! NEVER AGAIN

I was supposed to go out quadding with a buddy last night but he bagged at the last minute so I went out by myself...Bad idea.

20 min into the ride got stuck in a mud hole. 45 min to get myself out with warn winch. Had to winch myself out attached to some poor little 2" sapling. What a pain in the butt. Then I went to another area where I knew there was no water. There is a big pit out where we ride and its is all wide open, good to blast around ect.. So I am in the pit doing a donut, back wheel catches some dirt, throws me off the machine and I am laying on my back looking over at my Quad on its side. ARRG! Nothing was broken, on my or the quad, thank god!

To summarize, it was not that much fun

Thought you may get a kick out of my little adventure. In retrospect, it was an adventure and a learning experience.

No more going out at night alone and no more donuts...EVER!

Ride safely... I sure will... from now on anyway

Yeah i'll never ride alone in the dark.A few months ago my headlights went out at night, but luckily i was riding with a friend. That would suck to be by yourself in the pitch black dark.

Alone, in the dark, in the woods. Not a good thing. Especially if you start to hear the theme from Deliverence.

I had a friend that went riding at the dunes alone and came off a jump sideways and ended up braking his ankle and 4 ribs and was unconcious for probably 20 mins. or so. When he woke up with his foot stuck in his Raptor trying to flag anyone down he had to resort to his cell phone to call his wife and she had to call 911 and have someone come looking for him. Never again he said.

heh, my old kodiak never had lights for a while, so riding was interesting...i ended up holding a flashlight in one hand and just go slow. most of my riding is by myself, making new trails for when i do get a group ride going. the worse i had happenin was when i was cruisin down a trail at 35-40 at night, and boom, my headlights blew out... so i was still flying and its right on a steep hillside... i locked them up, and ended up going home in reverse the entire ride (my tailight was busted from being rammed)...that was my lighting of the ride

My Scrambler flipped over backwards on a bad hill once while I was riding alone. Cracked a few ribs. Worst of all, it broke off the brake master cylinder. I live in the mountains, lots of steep stuff. I had to ride 10 miles back with no brakes whatsoever. Very exciting.
