yamaha quad vs honda bike
i have a 1998 yamaha warrior, i just put 1100 bux into the motor because it was spanked. it now has a wiseco high compression piston in it, its bored .50 over, new valves, basically a brand new warrior motor. It also has 4 new bandit xc tires on offset rims, and a DG rcm series pipe. my friend has a 1994 cr 125 its all stock, but he did put a wiseco piston in it also, and a brand new pirrelli rear tire. He thinks he can take me, but my quad has alot of grunt and some good speed, i think i can take him. but he thinks other wise. tell me what you think.

they fly until they hit 5th gear, then jus go flat. they r designed to fly through all the gears really fast, but not pull good top speed. ull lose off the start but once he tops out ur top speed will take over

i was told to stage it in like 2nd gear, but i dont wanna try that and screw myself over if i dont have the r's up high enough. thats exactly what i was told about the 125, hell take me off the line most likely but i should take him in the speed. i think it will be close though

if it was at a place where u dont top out then the 125 will whoop u. at this one place i ride my 125 at i beat the atv's cuz i could throw my bike around alot easier over the rough stuff. quads dont like to go over uneven rough stuff, but my 125 jus a stab at the clutch and my bike jus rips right through it. drag race tho is a different story

Yeh 70 is about the speed it can hit. I think you can win if its a long race. They zip up to the max speed and thats it. When I raced my friends Yz85 on my wolvy we are really close all the time.
