scrambler headlights

You might want to be careful of the wattage of new lights. The Scrambler charging system is adequate, but not overly stout. I know I had to add a second battery to keep up with my winch. High powered lights don't pull the juice a winch does, but they will probably be used for longer periods. You'll probably be fine, but I thought I might mention it.
That said, I've thought about new lights too. Not for the power so much, but I think a set of round 6 inchers would look better. But most lights mount from the bottom, whereas Scrambler lights mount from the rear. Fortunately, that plate that the stock lights mount to is probably easy enough to modify. Also, most aftermarket driving lights you might use are single beam, not dual, so you wouldn't have high and low beams. You may have been talking about just changing bulbs in the stock housings. I'm no expert, but I have never seen bulbs like in the Scrambler used anywhere else, at least not the electrical connector.

I just purchased a pair of $15 lights and placed them behind the front bumper. I put a switch on the plastic cover in the center of the handle bars. They don't seem to draw too much power, and they shine a lot further than the original lights do. I posted a pic, I don't know if it is approved yet though.
