Default Trailblazer 250 pipe

I am looking at purchasing a used pipe for a 2000 Trailblazer. The pipe is listed for a 1987 or 1988 Trailblazer. The schematic looks similiar but how do I find if it will fit a 2000 model. I am unable to find a part number for the 1988/87 model but I would think the part number would be different anyway. Thanks for the help

I think you will need a pipe for a concentric drive modle such as 98-up.Dont waist your $$$$$ on a DG or FMF you wont see anything but an encrease in noise. If you are wanting a cheap but effective mod try changing the stock primary spring to a white polaris secondary. That will wake up your 250.

Hi,
I read your thread about 'waking ' up a 250. I have a 2002, model, and it can't even make it up some sand hills. My son rides it , and I am hoping for some advise on bolt ons that will give him the power he needs without making is too noisy. Is this possible.
ANd also, what are you talking about as far as White Promary Spring. Is this Clutch related?

Sorry for being a bit dumb, but I want to learn what I can do within reason to gain some power, and speed.

Thanks...

Call Rick at RCR, tell him what you're expecting from the mods, and he'll set you up. If you're set on getting a pipe, he'll get you the most for your money. Check out his Stage 1 kit on his site.

The white spring is in the clutch and is very easy to put in and costs about $20.Do that and put in a K&N air filter and you will notice a big change. No need for a complete clutch kit unless you put on a pipe and any aftermarket pipe will be loud some are louder than others depending on what silencer you use.
