Default Raptor 660 Sprocket Removal

Do I need to remove the chain to change out the sprocket ? Will loosening the chain be enough ? The chain has five hours max on it so it should not be stretched.

Thanks !

I assume you are talking about the front sprocket

remove sprocket gaurd
bend lockwasher tangs down
remove countershaft nut
change sprocket
adjust chain to proper tension

no need to remove chain

No you shouldnt have to remove the chain to change it. Just get access to the front sprocket, loosen the adjustment for the chain, and slide the sprocket off the shaft.
