Default Which 4X4 to buy after riding a Scrambler 400?

Hi Guys,

I currently own a Scrambler 400. I have had very good luck with it. I did a few upgrades, an RCR upgrade package, and some aftermarket wheels. It's fast, fun, and handles fairly well for a heavy machine. The other great thing is that i use it to plow as well.
Lately i have not been riding as much, and i use it more for plowing than anything. It get a bit stinky from "loading up" while plowing, not to mention its loud with the after-market pipe. Maybe i am just getting old! haha. I want to buy a 4X4 now, something with good power, something quiet with a nice "cushy" ride. Something i can load up, and hit the trail with my girlfriend for a smooth, relaxing ride. However, i would like something that if i am by myself, i can tear around like i do now with my scrambler.
I would buy another Polaris, i like them. My other thoughts are towards a Grizzly, and i know Hondas are great quads.... Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

he said cushy, lol. Try the grizz, it will push your driveway if you put yourself to it, and cushy is an understatement, its the bently of the trails. if you want something a little less costly try the kodiak 450. it still has diff lock and IRS> good luck,

Compared to what?????????

Take a look at the Sportsman line. The Sportsmans are a workhorse and you can still have fun on them. And NOTHING outrides a sportsman! Polaris has their IRS perfected and the 05's are even better!

Why not look at a Suzuki Vinson or Twin Peaks/Praire? Both have good 4x4, speed, and a SRA for a sporty feel that's hard to get from an IRS machine.

i spent about 2 years riding a scrammy 500, its anything but comfortable, its great flat surface and high speeds, but i Ny's mountain trails you cant take the bumps and i have heard that they've been improved over the years. the Grizz is the most comforatable quad i have ever ridden, no ive never driven the sportsmans so i cant talk but i do know that when your buying a quad, the best way to choose is to 1st read peoples opinoins on here, and second drive the quad yourself. I was set on a yamaha bruin until i drove it and realized its about as fast as my recon in 3rd gear so i changed my mind, dont let dealers tell you No to test drives. Drive then Buy.
