I hope the Raptor is a huge success!

the raptor will be a success because its the biggest and baddest.but i also think thats gonna be its downfall, as more and more inexperienced riders buy raptors and ds650s you'll start to see more injurys and deaths.then the lawsuits will start and the insurance companys will raise hell and force the government to impose limitations or bans.im 40 years old and i saw the banning of 3-wheeler sales so dont think it wont happen.now maybe i'm wrong(and i hope i am)but i dont think so but thats just my 2 cents.

Beleive me I was hoping just as much as you guys where to have a big honda built. This would have ensured the markets advances keep being made for the next few years, you know like a 2001 650ex and maybe a 2002, suzuki lt500quadsport, improved banshee, updated DS 650, And maybe an updated RAPTOR for 2003. I only hope that other makers keep the market from going stale, since we know honda seems to sell more quads they should be a leader and not roll over on its riders and give up like it appears. Maybe you guys just had those Japs confused by saying 2001 250R over and over and then 2001 650 Ex over and over. They just got it wrong and made the 250ex. But its good if you have a little brother or something, so I guess they will sale. I just dont see the market going one step forward and Honda 2 steps backward but they have a reason Im sure.

With all the extensive warining labels rivited to the fender of each machine, how can they keep getting sued? Maybe they need "If your a poor driver and have poor judgement of speed, its possible you can hurt yourself on this"

I think Yamaha is going to have to be the innovator. No.2 always has to think of new ideas and products to be No.1, and if No.1 doesn't respond then they won't be No.1 for long. Yamaha needs to kick Honda's rear. If they come out with a new version of the warrior as is rumored, and it is as good as the Raptor in the sport class, then that could very well be the case.
