on a sport quad!!! first of all it would put a lot of strain on the cain and suck alot of power up. and don't even try to slid through a turn on a sport quad with utillity mud tires on!!! i guess you could try but i wouldn't do it

I think the mudlites are a great choice, I am getting ready to put the 27's on my 2004 700EFI with the type 6 ITP wheels.

i would go with ur maxxis razrs or the holeshots, basicaly n e thing with a square profile that isnt heavy. mudlites on a 400 will not go good in the snow. when riding in the snow what u want is good tire speed and a heavy tire wont give u that

I use Maxxis Sur Tracs on my KFX400. Run them backwards and put a few ice screws in them.....You might be surprised!

Look into the Kenda Klaws. I wanted a beefier tire for snow and something a bit bigger than the 20" Holeshots I had on my trike. After talking with someone in my ATV club, I went with a 22" Kenda Klaw. A pure mud tire is probably a bit much for a sport machine. I like the fact that you can run the the Klaws in two different directions depending on the terrain. I bought a set of 6 ply XC's. So far, they've been really good in the snow. I'm very impressed with how they handle. Once the spring mud is over, I'll flip them around and see how they handle.

I use bearclaws on the back of my YFZ450. They work great in the mud and snow. Goes through a foot of snow no problem

Itp does make a smaller mud lite for sport quads. I've seen it in a number of catalogs. My buddy runs the bear claws on his 450r and they work great, he can get me a pair for about $80 cnd per tire. how does that sound.
