I have the 500 ho scammy and the coolant level is a little low. Anybody know what coolant I can use? Can I just add a little of the same stuff from my car, or should I use the "Pure Polaris" stuff?

don't mix with another type.....there are several types out there, its best putting the pure polaris coolant in your machine since thats what is already in there..

Thanks, I guess I'll be traveling to the dealer this weekend. Problem is the closest one is a few hours away.

I personally wouldn't drive 2 hours to get a quart of Polaris antifreeze. Find another shop closer, doesn't have to be a Polaris shop, just one that sells antifreeze for aluminum engines. I use Fuch's Pro cool antifreeze and it works great. I have been told by a friend who owns a Kawasaki shop that you can use any regular ethelene glycol antifreeze in a pinch, but I would recommend the aluminum antifreeze.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I should be able to get it in any auto place right? Well, either way, I'll find out.
Thanks again.

Yeah. Any of the green stuff that is made for aluminum radiators will do the trick. The Polaris stuff is a 60/40 mix so keep that in mind
