i won an m7 arctic cat yesterday
yesterday i was out having some fun on my honda when we stopped for a brake and my phone wrang.
so i say hellow and its my daughter and shes saying we won we won so i say what did we win and she said that we won a sled.
well needles to say i wasent sure so i called my local dealer and ask, and he says yes i won a 2005 m7 arctic cat snowmobile 140hp 153" track.
i couldent beleave it this is the first time i ever won antthing that was worth somthing.
well anyways i went to talk to them and see if they would be interested in a trade for maybe a dvx 400 or a ex 400 honda and he said he would give me $5000 cdn for it.
i told him i wanted $10,000 and he said $5000 was the best he could do.
so i said get it ready ill pick it up on monday and take it somewhere else to trade it.
i know its worth $10,000 cdn because it retails for $11,995
and its still brand new so i dont think ill have any trouble trading it on somthing.
my friend said to me last night that i should sell it and put the money into my 1970 ss 454 4 spd elcamino.
just the thought of cruiseing around in my car this summer is a sweet thought.
what do you think should i get another quad or fix my car.

i bought a ticket for 10 bucks.
i think i might keep it.
but if i get another quad i can take the wife or kids out with me and my son likes the idea of haveing a quad to ride.
all his friends have dirtbikes and quads and he has an old 250xl so i think he would like a nice sport quad to ride.
hes 18 and my daughter is 16 so there both fighting over whos getting what.
my daughter would like to keep the sled and my son would like a quad but said if i kept the sled that would be ok also .....i guess.
ill see what happens tomorow when i go to pick it up i asked him if he would trade it for the 450r sitting on the floor and he said if this was november or december maybe but now he will only give me $5000 cdn for it.
so if he dont want to deal ill go see the next dealer or maybe ill just keep it for myself and then ill have one of almost everything.

or i can sell the sled and finnish off my elcamino and then i can sell my trans am and get a quad with the money i get from my car.
the posabilatys seem endless right now.

If I won a snowmobile I would sell it too, have no use for one. I have no use for a PWC either. Have ridden both and they are a blast, but I wouldn't buy either. Would buy another ATV in a heart beat.
I am a die hard Ford man, although I would rather ride around in a 70 SS 454 El Camino any day. Nicest El Camino there was. LS6??? Doesn't matter, fix the El Camino.
We bought a Rancher 4X4 ES for our kids so they could go riding with us when they can. A good family outing is hard to beat, but then so is your El Camino.

yes the elcamino was an ls6 m22 4 spd with a 410 possi from the factory.
i reserched it and there was only 144 elcaminos with that combanation.
so its pretty rare.
there was lot of 454 and ss ls6 454s sold but they were all automatic.
or non ls6 454s with 4 spds but not to many like mine.
my car was bought new here in town by a guy who was going to street race it and he orderd it from the dealer like that.
but you know how it gos he sells the car and the guy who got it took the motor and tranny out and put it in a gto and sold the elcamino and the guy who got it put a stock truck 454 with an auto tranny in it and thats the way i got it.
i took the motor and tranny out and its now a ls5 454 from my old monty carlo and a super t 10 transmission.
but it needs body work and paint and i curently have the motor and trans in my trans am.
but when i get the elcamino painted i will put the motor and tranny back in it.
and put the 455 pontiac motor back in the trans am and sell it.
ANYWAYS.
i picked up the sled and tryed it out and man is that thing wicket.
i mean at quarter throttle i was going faster then my quad would ever do.
ive only road it for about ten mins but it was enuff to tell me if i keep it im gonna get hert.
so i think im going to sell it.
nice sled but i dont think i can afford to ride it it takse 12 gallons of fuel.
and the dealer said thats about 5 hrs of hard riding.
and then you need oil for the thing and thats another 5 dollers every time you go out.
my quad is 5 dollers for 5 hours of hard riding.
i can afford 5 dollers every time i take the quad out and thats about 3 to 4 times a week if i did that with the sled i would be broke.

A good friend in HS has a LS6 El Camino, red with white stripes and an automatic, posi, and I don't know what gears. What a nice car? truck? OK, what a "bad" ride. A ture American Muscle Car. Another friend years later had a LS6 Chevelle, blue with white stripes, it was an automatic too. Whether you like Chevrolets or not, they are extremely nice, and fast too! Loved the Cowl Induction too!
