Hind sight being 20/20 would you build it the same with all the goodies or would you do something or anything different or not do somethings? just curious cause i bought a mr hp 11.2:1 piston im trying to decide if i should get different valve springs, im gonna take the head to the dealer and have him do a valve job if i need one or not,(peice of mind) I'm gonna get a mrhp endcap and the ported intake, but i am gonna stick with the stock carb for now, if i can take the better half into it i was looking at trail cams from mrhp, what you think about all this wayne? your personal opinion thanks man, i love those rims and tires thanks again

I don't have the cash I used to so it would be tough for me to build what I had, but if I could I would!
Me and a few others on this forum did everything in stages, thinking the next stage would be fast enough, problem is it is never fast enough I started out with carb pipe ign, a few months later High compression piston, valve springs, clutch springs, then came the 760 kit and bigger carb, then came more head work, larger valves, race cut cyro treated gears, and alky. If I still had my DS, I'm sure it would have been on NOS by now.. ya see, it never ends for some of us..well until someone steals your stuff. but you know what I mean.
I would try and get the cams and put them in while your motor is apart. How much is the dealer charging for a valve job? I would have someone port the head and valve job while it is out. you might beable to find some cams cheap in the garage page.
