Twist or thumb throttle??

I tried the Twist, ended up having to change my underpants after hitting an unexpected G-out...grabbed on the throttle, the Raptor went ballistic and I ended up taking a soil sample.

i like thumb for rocky and very technical terrain. for smoother and faster tracks where your full throttle more often id rather use twist. as much as i dislike twist, i find i dont use my wrist to push on the thumb throttle on long races.

I ride both motorcycle and quads, and happen to like both. What it come's down to is personal prefference. Go with what you feel comfortable in the type of riding that you mostly do.

They're right. It really just comes down to personal preference. If you're concerned with throttle response, a twist throttle has more mechanical advantage than a thumb throttle, which may be partly to blame for their bad rep.
