Default Buying a sled

Hi I know this is a atv site and all but seems how its winter I need help to pick out a sled. I was wondering what sled would be best to buy stock and still be the best for mainly jumping but has to have quite a bit of power. I have been leaning towards the polaris 700 pro x 2. Any help would be apreciated. Also it has to be 04 or newer and price doesn't matter

Hey man, I don't know if you are a polaris man or if brands do not matter, when it comes to sleds and jumping, there has been nothing yet that has out proved the new Ski- Doo REV chassis. I live in northern ontario and we usually get a lot of snow here, it has been crazy how so many BRAND LOYAL people have turned around and are now riding revs. Anything form a 440 x to a 800 HO will have all the power you are looking for. I am not saying either that the pro x 2 is a bad sled, actually it is wicked but when it comes to moguls and jumping, the REV is a way better ride.... just a thought

That's different then here, eveyone is jumping ships to the Firecat chassis. Nothing 800cc or smaller will beat a F7. If price doesn't matter get one of these suckers. I would avoid a Polaris unless you get the Fusion, as the other sleds are out dated. Doo's are nice too but I would rater have the Firecat for the power. Wicked sleds.

I am not to picky on the brand I have owned a polaris and a arcticat and they were bouth good . I wanted to get the arcticat 440 snowpro or the 440 rev X but one of my friends said they only take race gas inless you do some work to the engine. Is that true? Also I only weigh 110 pounds so the lighter the better. I have never rode a newer rev I hear they are pretty good thow but can they handle huge drops 20 foot + and like 60 foot + gaps. I no it depends if you land right but basicly what I am askin is if it is mainly deisigned for jumping none of that trail stuff.

Your friend doesn't know what he is talking about. They take the same gas.

One thing to consider, make sure you get EFI. I will not get another snowmobile with it. No chokes to mess with, or carbs to rejet, perfect for any weather condition or altitude. Only way to go.

Holy smokes!!!!!! You should take that MXZ back to Ski-doo so they can check it over!!!!! The only way your 1998 snowmobile can beat a 700 Polaris or a Firecat F6 is if they have a spark plug disconnected.

Not trying to start anything, but I have seen and experienced a TON of snowmobile races, and there is no way in heck you beat them and "they went evan close" as you put it.

I worked for an arctic cat store - skidoo store And have owned a many polaris. As of right now you will not find a faster sled than a Fz with a 660 box. hands down. We have race alot of sleds with it and have oly lost to big bores over 1000 cc. Not to say it cant be beat because there is always someone. Whats nice about it is you can buy a box and keep two in your sled for trail and race.
