my 700 praiare will not engage 4 wheel drive
last time out broke trail for a few kilometers in about 18" of soft snow in 4 wheel drive at the top of my hill aproximately 200 yards from being home put it in 2 wheel drive to break down the snow plows pile of snow to get on and off the road and hasnt gone back into 4 wheel drive since had the garage at about 70-75 degrees for about 5 hours to melt snow and defrost the bike but still nothing
any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated thank you when i put the button in 4x4 it doesnt come out of 4x2

 

I assume your rolling and driving when your trying to engage it 5-10 mph. Check your fuses. check plugs at the acuator, or it might be the actuator. Try those and let us know if any change.

 

i did try it while rolling and still nothing
we looked at the fuses under the seat seen nothing wrong with them
the fuses we looked at are the box of 4 are there more

 

it is now working right after defrosting one day i was playing with it yesterday and decided to tap the actuator with a hammer and there we go now it is working with no hesitation
must have been froozen luckily no big deal
