Default Blaster FMF exhaust setup

Hello PPl
This is my first post hear maybe you guy can help me

I just bought a FmF gold series pipe and a powercore 2 silencer, and it runs fine but wen you leave it to take over on idle speed it goes from being normal idle and picks up to quite high idle and stops and takes over quite high revs,

I have used the fmf website to help me set it up right well i think?

I have got :
K/n on it (air lid box snorkel taken on it)
260 mainjet in carb

But i havent set the needle to 3rd groove on the carb because i dont know how it is done?

Any ideas to my problem?

Thanks in advance

sounds like an air-leak. tighten all the screews around the head and reed cage. also, check that your reeds arent cracked.

Your reeds might be getting worn out. When that happens the idle tends to be spratic and not even.

Whats the best reed setup?
Or is i better to just get the whole reed cage?
I was debating on VForce 3, VForce 2, or G3's...not sure.

it's your jetting, mine did the same thing. you just have to find the right set up. you could also take the airbox lid off, that might help. I believe the neeldle effects idle to 1/4 throttle.

How did you get your jetting right in the end then?

Cheers Dan

the air screw and pilot jet effect the idle circuit, the needle controls 1/4 to like 3/4
